PLEASE NOTE THE HOURS FOR THIS ROLE ARE: Monday to Friday 4.30pm - 12.30am (37.5 hours per week)

Main Purpose of the Job:
As a Trainee Baker at Truly Treats, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of cakes, traybakes, and scones. You must work efficiently and accurately, following recipes and instructions precisely. You should have a basic knowledge of food safety regulations and adhere to all health and safety standards.
Duties:
- Preparing and baking a variety of cakes, traybakes and scones
- Weighing and measuring ingredients
- Operating equipment
- Decorating and finishing products
- Performing quality control checks
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Experience in baking
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A hardworking attitude with a keen interest in learning
Notes:
The company have openings for two positions on their evening shift: one dedicated to cake production and another focused on scone production.
