Financial Controller | Central MCR (Hybrid) | £65,000 - £75,000 + 10% bonus | Online Retail/Fashion
Axon Moore have partnered with an exciting, fast growing fashion brand in central Manchester who are seeking a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Financial Controller to join their rapidly expanding team. This new role reports into the FD, with a team of 8-9 (both direct & indirect reports), you will oversee the management accounts production, budgeting process, cash flow, partnering with all areas of the wider business.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the month end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This will include P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations
- Working capital management and cash forecasting
- Capital investment appraisal and review
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process to support the decision making process
- Build effective working relationships with cross functional business partners to drive process improvements, and delivering key business metrics and insight to enable informed decision making
- Take control of stock management, recording and reporting.
- Work with internal and external IT partners ensuring the finance system meets the business needs in delivering timely and accurate reporting
- Review and continually develop and enforce financial policies and procedures.
- Support in any financial due diligence requests
Ideal candidate:
- You must have experience working in an e-commerce or retail environment
- Confident communicator, with an ability to challenge stakeholders
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
