Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Policy Administration: Handle all aspects of policy administration, including renewals, endorsements, and mid-term adjustments.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, ensuring swift and fair resolution of claims.
- Quotations and Negotiations: Obtain quotations from insurers, negotiate terms, and present the most suitable options to clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial insurance, preferably within a brokerage.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various classes of commercial insurance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance software.
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Certifications: Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous but not essential.
