Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Financial Controller for a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham.
This will be a varied role to manage the financials for the operations as well produce meaningful management information to be presented to a range of stakeholders to enable better decision making. You will also be responsible for managing the finance team day to day.

Hours of work are 8.30am - 5pm (Monday to Thursday) with an earlier finish on Friday. These hours can be flexed too.
This role will include the following duties:-
- Responsible for managing the finance team day to day
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts along with supporting commentary and analysis
- Production and analysis of various weekly and monthly financial reports
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Identification of trends, monitoring year on year growth / deficit and monitoring against targets
- Controlling and monitoring stock takes
- To build and maintain productive relationships across the business
- To work with external advisors and professional organisations
- To continually review processes and provide recommendations
- Undertake project work as required
- Identify future impactors to the business, provide recommendations as appropriate.
To be successful for this role you will have the following skills and experiences:-
- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified
- Some experience gained within the manufacturing sector
- Diligent and accurate
- Strong communicator
- Good level of IT skills
- Good attention to detail
