We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, starting ASAP with the possibility to be kept on from September. Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate
- Education (PGCE) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong knowledge of A-Level Psychology curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive A-Level Psychology lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent's evenings, and school events.
- Support the pastoral care of students, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
