Training Officer
Location: Stockport Town Centre
Salary: Up to £ 15 per hour - will go permanent in future
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, flexible according to the needs of the service
About the Role:
This company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Officer to join their dynamic team. As a Training Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering training programmes that enhance the skills and knowledge of the social care workforce. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and implementing training sessions, facilitating various modes of training, and supporting staff development in accordance with national standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programmes aligned with national occupational standards, NICE guidelines, and CQC outcomes.
- Facilitate training sessions through webinars, face-to-face meetings, e-learning modules, and other formats.
- Support the preparation and implementation of national and regional training calendars.
- Provide tailored learning plans to meet individual needs and offer practical assistance to learners and staff.
- Encourage reflective practice and support peers with audits and quality assurance initiatives.
- Monitor and report learner progress, publicise training initiatives, and participate in team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in health and social care services at a senior level.
- Minimum level training/teaching qualification (AET, CET, PTLLS) or relevant experience in social care/health care training.
- Knowledge of National Occupation Standards, NICE guidelines, and CQC requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, adapt to changing situations, and travel as required.
