Jepson & Co are currently recruiting for a Full Time Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Sheffield.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Safe use of all FLT on site.
- Supply of components in ready to use format for all production areas.
- Picking and packing of orders.
- Placing finished stock in BC and general label printing
- Operating manual, semi automatic and automatic machinery/equipment
- Maintenance and cleanliness of machinery/equipment to standard
- Unloading and loading of deliveries/Pick-ups.
- Stock transfer internal to the factory, FIFO system.
- Housekeeping of materials stored in the warehouse and factory racking - adhering to 5S standards.
- Removal and put away of finished goods from all departments.
- Accurate stock holding of stock at the East Bank Road facility.
- Daily use of IOC boards to highlight any discrepancies/issues
- Liaising with other department/support functions for solutions
- Stock take experience
- Other factory floor duties
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Math and English GCSE or equivalent
Essential competencies:
- Experience in warehouse or factory environment.
- Good housekeeping.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Self-Managing.
- Can do attitude.
- Health and safety Knowledge.
Desirable competencies:
- FLT license
- CLEAN Driving license B category
