Training Manager

Our client is looking for a training manager to join their successful financial business on a full time basis paying a salary of £35,000.00 per annum.

Purpose of the Position:

Are you passionate about developing talent and enhancing financial skills? Join our clients team as a Training Manager, collaborating with the Chief Accountant to identify training needs within the financial accounting sector. Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training sessions to ensure high-quality work output, support career development, and facilitate new employee onboarding. Mentor employees pursuing professional qualifications such as AAT and CIMA through apprenticeship schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop:Create engaging training materials (presentations, documentation, videos).
- Facilitate Training: Conduct and record both virtual and in-person training sessions.
- Assess Learning: Measure understanding and retention, implementing effective assessment methods.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to enhance training materials in line with compliance and regulations.
- Training Needs Analysis: Identify and address training needs across the business.
- Expert Guidance: Provide support on financial accounting principles and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant: ACMA, ACCA, ACA, or QBE with senior-level experience.
- Relevant Experience:Proven in a similar role, preferably within smaller or mid-sized organisations.

- Leadership & Improvement: Demonstrated leadership and process improvement skills.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive and team-oriented.
- Analytical Skills: Strong trend identification and improvement seeking.
- IT Proficiency: Excellent Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
