Shorterm are to be working with an Engineering contractor that are currently on the lookout for a Technical Clerk
Key Responsibilities for the job include:
- Deliver a broad range of administrative services
- Obtain supplier quotations, complete material requisitions and ordering.
- Compile delivery dockets and complete GRNs (Goods received Notes)
- Manage sign-in sheets and weekly time sheets for payroll purposes
- Liaise with relevant departments
- Compiling / filing test sheets for handover to clients Commissioning team
- Assist with on-site access and start up procedure for new employees
- Adhoc assistance to all aspects of running an efficient and productive site office
Key Competencies:
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and positive attitude
- Good communication skills - written / verbal
- Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload, flexibility, and drive to finish key activities through to completion.
- Excellent working knowledge MS Office applications is essential
