Technical Clerk

Shorterm are to be working with an Engineering contractor that are currently on the lookout for a Technical Clerk

Key Responsibilities for the job include:

  • Deliver a broad range of administrative services
  • Obtain supplier quotations, complete material requisitions and ordering.
  • Compile delivery dockets and complete GRNs (Goods received Notes)
  • Manage sign-in sheets and weekly time sheets for payroll purposes
  • Liaise with relevant departments
  • Compiling / filing test sheets for handover to clients Commissioning team
  • Assist with on-site access and start up procedure for new employees
  • Adhoc assistance to all aspects of running an efficient and productive site office

Key Competencies:

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills - written / verbal
  • Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload, flexibility, and drive to finish key activities through to completion.
  • Excellent working knowledge MS Office applications is essential
