This is an exciting opportunity to join one of South Wales leading Sustainability Consultancies who provide specialist energy and environmental services to various complex projects across the UK. They are on the lookout for an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor who can hit the ground running with their sustainability team in Swansea.
Role responsibilities for an OCDEA include:
- Produce Part L SAP assessments and calculations, as well as SBEM calculations
- Begin to use IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments in accordance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59
- Produce general sustainability statements, strategies and reports
- Liaise with clients to provide sustainable solutions to minimise the carbon footprint and environmental impact of their projects.
An OCDEA will be required to have:
- An On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor qualification through a credible accreditation scheme
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a relevant energy or sustainability consultancy role within the construction industry
- Demonstratable experience delivering SAP and SBEM assessments
- Working knowledge and experience with Part L and Part O regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
