The role:
A chartered firm of IFA's is now seeking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to work closely with a Chartered Financial Planner. - Carry out the technical elements of preparing for client meetings including preparing suitability reports
- Analysing information on a clients existing arrangements and conduct gap analysis
- A working knowledge of pre and post-retirement planning, investments and taxation
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) with an inquisitive approach
- Ensure the Senior Financial Planners requirements are fully understood by effective questioning at all stages of the advice process
- Develop strong working relationships with product providers
- Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure a consistent high level of client experience and identify process improvements
The Company:
- A chartered IFA offering advice on all aspects of Financial Planning. Including life cover, pensions, investments, savings and IHT planning
The Person:
- c3 years previous experience as a Paraplanner for an IFA/Wealth Manager
- Experience of Intelligent Office (IO) back office system
- A positive, friendly and service orientated person with a 'can do' attitude.
- Articulate communicator, written and verbal
- Honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong work ethic and responsive to the need to offer a consistent high quality service
- Willingness to work as a key member of a small team and closely with Office Manager and support/train others where needed
Salary:
- £40k - £52k plus pension, 25 days holidays, hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 at home), 35 hrs per week, full study support.
