Memberships Recruitment and Partnerships Officer

Our client has two openings one Officer will focus on recruitment through internal and external events. The other will focus on communications and recruitment campaigns.

We are seeking a dynamic and persuasive Membership Recruitment and Partnerships Officer to drive the growth and development of our organisation's network. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting new members and fostering partnerships that align with our operational strategy. You'll excel at promoting membership through events, presentations, and digital campaigns, with a keen ability to communicate passionately and persuasively.

What will you be doing?

**Key Responsibilities:

Membership Recruitment:

  • Achieve individual and team recruitment targets by onboarding suitable members in alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Lead recruitment efforts through internal and external events, digital campaigns, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective members, confidently articulating the value of membership to diverse audiences.
  • Showcase membership benefits through various channels, including emails, phone calls, virtual meetings, and speaking engagements, while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Provide account management for membership partners, ensuring they continue to invest in memberships for their staff, students, or members.

Lead Generation:

  • Stay updated on the organisation's engagement products, activities, and current programmes, integrating recruitment opportunities where appropriate.
  • Identify and secure new recruitment sources and potential membership partnerships with external organisations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote membership across the organisation, securing nominations from existing staff and members.
  • Organise and deliver webinars and events to attract and convince prospective members to join.

Administration and Teamwork:

  • Use our CRM system (Salesforce) and reporting tools (Power-Bi) to track and monitor membership recruitment, using data to inform decision-making and prioritise efforts.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks across multiple platforms (Salesforce, Eventbrite, Pardot, SharePoint) to ensure a seamless experience for members and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in team meetings and other internal gatherings as required.
  • Work closely with the Membership Services and Engagement Teams to enhance the overall membership experience, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

About you:

You will need to have relevant experience having perhaps worked within a customer focused recruitment or engagement position.

You will also need:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, marketing, or sales, with a strong track record of meeting targets and driving growth.
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent experience.
  • Solid knowledge of customer service and response handling.
  • Experience in a target-driven role, particularly in sales, marketing, or campaigns.
  • Strong persuasion skills with the ability to motivate and convince others.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

role is a Permanent position opportunity. The working hours are 35 per week with some hybrid working (3 days in office and 2 days from home). The applicable salary is £30,000pa-£32,000pa (dependent on experience) plus outstanding benefits such as generous pension, 29 days annual leave, coaching and development and more.
