**Job Description

**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Sales Executive to join our clients Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) division. This role is integral to delivering exceptional customer service and technical support, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert knowledge of our RMC products.

**Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Proactively sell our range of Ready Mixed Concrete and concrete products to a diverse customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders within the Ready Mixed Concrete sector.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, consistently delivering exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Technical & Compliance:

  • Maintain and disseminate mix design data for internal analysis and issue mix design certificates to customers.
  • Ensure complete compliance with BSI standards for Ready Mixed Concrete by maintaining accurate records and following established processes.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports for line management, including lorry earnings, concrete mix costs, and sales forecasts.

Operational Management:

  • Enter customer orders and requirements into the company's operational system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve high levels of efficiency, profitability, safety, and service in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing support.

Standards & Legislation:

  • Communicate and implement company standards, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Continuously seek to improve standards and work practices, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery and operational efficiency.

**Person Specification

Education / Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Concrete technology parts 1 and 2 (desirable).

Experience / Skills / Competencies:

  • Extensive experience in sales and territory management, preferably within the Ready Mixed Concrete industry.
  • At least 10 years of experience within the Ready Mixed Concrete sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ready Mixed Concrete and aggregates.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Exchange, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly adapt to cloud-based management systems.
  • A team player with the resilience to thrive under pressure in a demanding commercial environment.
