Burman are supporting a public sector client appoint a permanent HR Advisor. You will provide essential HR services and support to ensure the effective management of the workforce. Your role will encompass a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy development, and compliance. You will collaborate with managers and employees to foster a positive, productive, and legally compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports to resolve workplace disputes.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance on setting objectives, conducting reviews, and addressing performance issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee performance and engagement.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
HR Administration and Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
