Resource Planner

  • Annual Salary: £24,900 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Resource Planner to become a primary point of contact for our field staff, organising the daily planning of personnel and equipment within the Operations Division. This role is based in our Teesside office and reports to the Operations Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Organise the planning of personnel and equipment, ensuring the planning board is up to date with real-time changes.
  • Manage operations to ensure resources are utilised in the most effective manner.
  • Maintain compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as reviewing timesheets, creating purchase orders, and completing other relevant tasks to the highest standard.
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring operators have the correct job assignment information and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Manage personnel, conduct return to work interviews, and address day-to-day operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Flexibility and willingness to be on call during evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an Integrated Management System.
  • Proficiency in ICT, particularly Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Good level of English, both verbal and written.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in a Planning/Coordinator role is desirable.
