Your new role :
We are looking for aQuantity Surveyor to join our team - Reporting to Senior Surveyors, ContractsManager and Directors , main duties listed :
- Manage commercial and contractual matters from project outset to completion on a variety of projects - (Roads, Structures, Flood Prevention and Renewable Energy Projects)
- Subcontract package procurement and management
- Agreement of Main Contract and Subcontract interim applications and final accounts
- Measurement take-offs and variation/change control costing
- Value engineering
- Creation and submission of programmes
- Contract Administration
- Cost forecasting and reporting

What you'll need to succeed :
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar;
- Ideally previous experience in a similar role;
- Ability to work as part of team;
- Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills;
- IT proficiency;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Security cleared or the ability to obtain the required level of clearance;
- Knowledge of basic common law, contract law and standard form conditions of contract;
- Experience with contract documentation preparation;
- Ability to manage change control effectively;
- Experience with contract administration, ensuring contract compliance;
- Experience with cost forecasting and reporting.
