Account Manager - South East & London

Angard Staffing, the dedicated recruitment partner for Royal Mail, is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. As one of the largest parcels and letters providers globally, Royal Mail relies on our flexible labour solutions to meet its dynamic and critical demands. We support over 25,000 bookings weekly across the UK, ensuring agility and responsiveness.

In this pivotal role, you will act as the strategic manager between Angard Staffing and Royal Mail, facilitating the successful delivery of our contract. You will manage client relationships across various Royal Mail sites in the South East, including London and the M4 corridor. Your responsibilities will include overseeing flexible workforce requirements, strategic customer relationship management, and project planning.

This is a hybrid role which role involves extensive travel, with 3 to 4 days per week spent on the road visiting customers or from our central Northampton hub which you'll need to attend at least twice a month. Collaboration with our specialist recruitment and deployment teams is essential, as is maintaining confidence in our service delivery. You'll be responsible for:

  • Protecting and growing Angard supplier share where possible to ensure optimal service-related efficiencies to Royal Mail
  • Working closely with the recruitment, deployment, and payroll teams in?our shared service centre to ensure a high level of service is delivered and fulfilment is at the required levels across sites
  • Review MI reports and data with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the account including the delivery of targeted quarterly innovation
  • Identify recruitment challenges and support campaigns in hotspot areas
  • Forecasting, planning, service delivery

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in either Industrial/Blue Collar Recruitment (preferably with driving experience), Volume Recruitment, Account Management, or Contract Management
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • High level of motivation and a desire to succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence in public speaking and presenting at a strategic level
