Apprenticeships Manager- Engineering
The company
A forward thinking and progressive college are expanding their team and have multiple site locations where they operate from.
The role
They are looking for an experienced Apprenticeships Manager- Engineering to join the team on a contract until the end of the year. To help assist in the department due to an influx of students.
You will take responsibility for:
- Assist potential students with the course most suited to them, whilst supporting employers who are looking to take on apprentices
- Coach individual students to ensure the best possible success during the course whilst monitoring their progress
- Carry out assessments both in person and virtual
- Carry out progress reviews at periodic intervals to ensure students keep up with their workload
- Make sure all relevant documentation is completed and updated to a high standard
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience mentoring/ coaching engineering or relevant field
- Level 3 qualification in an engineering related field
- Experience dealing with both customers and students
- Assessor A1 Award
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Previous work with an awarding body and other external organisations
- In house experience working with apprentices

On offer is the chance to join a forward thinking and progressive college. There is a 4 month contract on offer paying an hourly rate of between £22 and £26 per hour.
