As a Housing Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing complex cases.
What will you be doing as a Housing Officer?
- Engaging with residents and providing them with assistance and guidance on housing matters.
- Managing a caseload of vulnerable people, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.
- Supporting residents with tenancy changes, including transfers and terminations.
- Collaborating with external agencies, such as local authorities and support services, to provide holistic support to our residents.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills to engage and empathise with stakeholders at all levels.
What are we looking for?
- Previous customer service experience, preferably within a housing context.
- The ability to manage complex cases and work with vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Resilience and the ability to adapt to change positively.
- A flexible approach to work and a willingness to travel when needed.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
