Our client a solution provider in the electricity market located in Bristol, are seeking a talented Engineering Design Manager. This role covers key energy sectors across the world working on providing solutions for a range of unique problems. Working in the office Monday - Friday. The client is offering a salary of up to £70,000 dependant on experience.
What Does the Role Entail?
Our client is seeking a dedicated and methodical Engineering Design Manager to work on a range of projects from earthing and lightning protection design to risk assessments for airports, Solar farms and wind farms for their clients ensuring maximum protection, durability, and safety. You will oversee and manage the team on the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems ensuring reports to clients are completed and any repairs and replacements are dealt with quickly and efficiently. You will work with a range of clients globally ensuring to meet the needs and provide the best possible service, whilst adhering to all safety guidelines.
What Skills Will You Have?
You will ideally have electricity engineering experience or similar working within the engineering space, with exposure to working with a range of clients. You will also have management experience as this role will be a 50/50 split. You should possess a genuine passion for engineering, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team. An electrical qualification is beneficial. Problem-solving abilities and a resilient nature are essential, along with immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional demeanour.
