Internal Audit Manager
Resourcery Group are working with a brilliant global business based near Skelmersdale as they look to hire a new Internal Audit Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a market leader as they look to build out their internal audit function in this well established and profitable business. The Internal Audit Manager will work with the Group FD and wider finance team across a number of important projects. You will have the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders in this important role.

Key Responsibilities
- Quarterly and annual audit reporting
- Co-ordinate the implementation of financial and compliance programmes
- Continual improvement of internal controls
- Hands-on approach to obtaining audit evidence (invoices, PO's etc) with requirement to understand Finance systems.
- Identify areas of improvement to Finance Director to ensure that shortcomings / weaknesses identified in the Audit are corrected for future audit work.
- Document finance processes to provide further supporting audit evidence to sample requests.
- Management and development of audit team.
- Proven systematic and structured approach to managing and solving audit issues.
Key Requirements
- Experience of leading an audit and managing small team.
- Qualified Accountant / Professional Audit qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills
