Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain/Demand Planner.
Primary responsibility of the role:
To provide support to the process of the Demand and Inventory planning forecast, ensuring uninterrupted supply to customers.
Day to day duties:
- Working with key stakeholders to create accurate demand planning forecasts
- Providing key demand analysis
- Validating purchasing plans and progressing through to placement of orders
- Identifying potential stock shortages and taking corrective action
- Monitor supplier performance
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Demand or Supply Chain environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills including Excel
- Experience using an ERP system
