Do you also have the following?
- 5+ years' related experience post qualification in MEICA installation, testing and commissioning, preferably in the UK water sector.
- Valid UK driving licence
- Engineering qualification (degree / HND / BTEC) or Apprentice accreditation's in the relevant trade.
- 18th edition (preferable)
- City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (advantageous)
- CSCS / ECS Gold card or looking to obtain one (preferable)
- EUSR Clean water card (preferable)

Then this is a brief list of tasks required for the commissioning engineer role.
- Carry out and supervise various MEICA installation, testing, commissioning and refurbishment works on existing water company sites in accordance with the project requirements and programme.
- Work outside and on sites that convey sewage as well as drinking water and comply with the necessary hygiene standards.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously if required.
- Specify job requirements and the parts / equipment / materials needed as well as compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
- Read, understand, produce and follow risk assessments and method statements.
- Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works and test MEICA systems.
- Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation, testing and commissioning work has been carried out successfully, accurately and timely.
- Utilise design drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Compliance with BS7671 requirements as well as company and client specific standards.
