Salary: £43,000

Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, partial maternity cover with the possibility of becoming permanent

Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, including breaks)

Location: Coventry, UK

Our client based in Coventry is an IT digital consulting company that helps organisations succeed with technology.

They are a small close knit team which works a lot within the non-profit third sector and are justifiably proud of the massive social impact that their work has.

They are seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Manager to take responsibility for two key areas:

1. Operational delivery management, ensuring internal processes, meetings, and resource planning run smoothly; and

2. Project management of client-facing software projects, supporting the successful and timely delivery of technical workstreams.

This is a full-time role with a meaningful purpose, suited to someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and confident working across internal teams and with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Delivery Management

Meeting Organisation

Ensure regular meetings (capacity, budget, project check-ins) are scheduled and well managed

Prepare for and facilitate meetings to ensure they run efficiently

Proactively track and follow up on actions arising from meetings

Liaise with the PA to directors to manage scheduling and logistics

Capacity Planning

Support capacity planning for a team of project delivery staff members

Use Asana's workload planner to track upcoming project work and leave

Ensure data is regularly reviewed and updated in collaboration with team members

Analyse timesheets to inform future capacity planning

Budget Monitoring

Maintain oversight of project budgets

Independently and jointly review budget data with directors and managers

Follow up on budget-related actions

Assist with monthly client invoicing in coordination with a director

Ensure budget tracking tools remain accurate and current

Project Tracking

Keep records of key actions and decisions made during project meetings

Follow up on outstanding tasks or information

Systems and Tools

Coordinate updates to tools, such as spreadsheets and automated reminders

Make or oversee changes to formulas, triggers, and workflows where required

Client Project Management (Software Projects)

Lead the planning and coordination of client-facing software projects

Define and document project delivery timeframes, milestones, and responsibilities

Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring clarity around dependencies and deliverables

Coordinate responsibilities across internal teams and client stakeholders

Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and scope changes in a timely and constructive manner

Ensure clients are kept informed with regular updates, status tracking, and clear communication

Support effective onboarding and handover of completed work to clients

Key Competencies

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Proactive and self-sufficient; able to work independently with minimal supervision

Confident and professional communicator across all levels, internally and externally

Strong problem-solving skills, especially with data, timelines, and processes

Comfortable using a range of digital tools and systems, and able to quickly get up to speed with new ones

Key tools: Slack, Slab, Asana, Airtable, Google Workspace, Toggl

Experience managing or coordinating software/technical projects is essential

Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery approaches is desirable

What they offer

A salary of £43,000, depending on experience.
