About Our Client

Our client is a small, family-run business based in Rugby, Warwickshire. With a strong foundation of core values and a welcoming work environment, they are proud to have a close-knit team of 30 employees. As their company continues to grow, they are seeking a Management Accountant to take charge of all financial aspects of their business.

Your New Role

They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant who is ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to enhance their processes and contribute to the ongoing development of their company.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of their financial accounts, including:

  • Producing monthly Profit and Loss reports
  • Preparing monthly budgets and management reports
  • Overseeing full credit control, from issuing invoices to payment reconciliation
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customer inquiries within the accounts department
  • Handling payroll
  • Managing VAT returns
  • Tracking the financial performance of individual projects for invoicing and Profit and Loss analysis
  • Conducting cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
  • Implementing new ideas and processes for continuous improvement
  • Supporting the development of internal systems
  • Partnering with their Project Managers and Directors by providing financial analysis, reports, and strategic advice
  • Managing Management Information (MI) and dashboards

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Lean principles is an advantage but not essential
  • Experience with Xero and Simpro (CRM) is preferred but not required
