ClearCourse are looking for a Group Assistant Finance Analyst to join us in a newly created role for our group finance function.

As an Assistant Finance Analyst you will be key in ensuring accounting closing processes are performed, accurately, efficiently and in accordance with the wider group reporting timeline. You will be responsible for the month end reporting, reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts and various other reporting requirements. Required skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and take initiative.
  • Team player with a demonstrable `can do' attitude.
  • Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills – a problem solver, who can understand and communicate complex issues.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for Fixed and Intangibles Assets
  • Responsible for all intercompany recharges including revenue releases
  • Responsible for updating the prepayments and accruals schedule
  • Responsible for credit card reconciliations and accruals
  • Updating Blackline with all relevant balance sheet reconciliations
  • Detailed review of aged debtors and creditors with follow up investigation on any unusual balances
  • Quarterly VAT reconciliations
  • Assisting with various P&L analysis- making sure costs are allocated to the correct cost centres
  • Supporting with monthly, quarterly, annual reporting packs related to regular business updates, budget and forecast updates, Board reports etc
