We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, friendly and self-motivated HR professional to join our clients busy HR team for a maternity cover. You will have had experience working confidently at HR Officer level, ideally within an educational environment. You will have experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle and of dealing with your own ER caseload.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:-
- Hold a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
- Have experience of working as an HR Officer (ideally within an educational environment) in an efficient and pro-active manner.
- Experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle an of dealing with your own ER caseload.
- Be highly organised.
- Be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with a high attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication skills, particularly in speaking to others on the telephone and drafting emails.
- Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team.
- Be proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
This role is based on site, in New Malden, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. You will also need an Enhanced DBS or be part of the update service, but if you do not have one, we could possibly undertake this for you.
Due to the School holidays we are looking for someone to start on the 19th August now, however, please note this is not a term time role only, you will be required to work through, and any holidays will have to be taken during the school holidays when it is quieter.
