Job Overview:
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist with a background in paediatrics to join our dynamic team at Erleigh House. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, helping them to achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the occupational needs of children with diverse needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and review progress, adapting interventions as necessary.
  • Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with children in a paediatric setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
