We are looking for a Production Planner to join our busy and growing organisation. The Production Planner will organise production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner and provide a first-class support function to the Despatch and Warehouse, internal and external customers whilst ensuring all vehicles are loaded/ despatched in line with customer orders, build requirements and stock priority, delivery times and dates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products and assets.
- Manage MRP Messages in line with the SAP MRP System
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand Assign workers and other staff to production operations
- Schedule shift according to production needs
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within labour KPI
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Help with reallocations of customer returns/cancelled orders
- Manage/Review safety stock levels
- Manage lead time request from Sales Channels
Required experience/skills/qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Computer Literate
- SAP
