We are ADI Leak Detection, the UK's market leader in non-invasive leak detection. We specialise in locating leaks on domestic and commercial pipework, roofs, building structures, drains and swimming pools. We use advanced non-invasive technologies such as tracer gases, acoustic listening equipment, thermal imaging cameras and more.
We are pleased to be able to offer this attractive opportunity for an experienced plumber to join the team as a plumbing and pipework Leak Detection Engineer, and cover enquiries from the Scottish Mainland. We are the pioneers in this field, finding and fixing leaks throughout the country since we developed and brought the service to market in 2014.
This position is offered on a self-employed basis. Training, uniforms and all the leak detection equipment will be provided. Our Head Office is in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and the company will be covering all the costs associated with a 2 week training period based in High Wycombe for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work is booked on a 1 job per day basis (Monday-Friday, arriving at the customer's property for 9:30am) - no rushing around between multiple jobs
- Non-invasive leak detection on domestic/commercial pipework (heating systems, hot feeds, cold feeds and water mains)
- Aiming for same-day access and repair to leaking pipework when possible
- Complete a comprehensive report for every job carried out using the template on our bespoke mobile app
Required Experience:
- Registered plumber
- NVQ level 2/3 qualified plumber
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience
- Problem-solving, ‘think outside the box' mindset
- Motivation and drive to work independently on the majority of jobs
- Passion and enthusiasm for the service we provide
- Polite, presentable, with good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Eligible to live and work in the UK with fluent English language skills
- Own van and basic plumbing tools
- Clean UK driving licence
