A college in Nuneaton are seeking a Skills Coach to join them. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and inspirational individual passionate about making a difference for students on the Level 2 programme. This role involves delivering 1 to 1 and group coaching sessions, providing targeted and focused interventions to a caseload of students to support their academic success and personal development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering personalised 1 to 1 and group coaching sessions to students.
- Providing targeted interventions related to learning behaviours, academic success, relationships, and career pathways.
- Enabling students to progress to the next level of their learning or employment.
- Building and maintaining effective rapport with young people.
- Ensuring all activities comply with safeguarding protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths.
- A minimum standard of education to A Level or equivalent.
- Experience of working with young people from Year 9 upwards.
- The ability to relate well to young people and develop an effective rapport.
- Strong awareness of protocols linked to safeguarding young people.
