ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:
As an Accountant, your role will be pivotal in managing the financial aspects of various projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire working capital cycle, from contract review to job closure. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to analyse overruns, maintain project reports, and provide insightful commentary on project expenses. You will also liaise with our shared service centre to manage invoicing processes. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you report on project profitability to senior management and challenge partners on billing issues.
- Manage the full WIP cycle from reviewing contracts to job closures; analyse overruns and communicate with stakeholders for actions required.
- Oversee project records and contracts to ensure terms are adhered to.
- Liaise with shared service centre to raise invoices and manage the output of the offshore team.
- Analyse P&L movement in relation to project overruns.
- Maintain project reports regarding their performance.
- Report on project profitability to senior management.
- Analyse project expenses and provide commentary on progress and variances.
- Challenge partners on billings and disbursements write-offs and explain the commercial implications.

You are adept at using SAP systems and have a proven track record of working effectively with shared service centres.
