Overview:

Our client is looking to recruit a CPQ Project Manager who will be responsible for driving the development of their CPQ Software System to deliver digital efficiencies and automation into all departments across the Company.

They have worked on the development of their CPQ Software and are now looking for someone to take on the responsibility for its continuous development to meet the growth requirements of the Company, enhancing the system with additional products, new markets and new ways to advance the interaction for their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day support and administration of the CPQ system such as managing user profiles, roles, permissions, workflows, process builders and other configurations.
  • Develop and gain a deep understanding of the CPQ system and their business processes to provide support to users.
  • Generate and analyse both simple and complex reports from their CPQ system based on business needs.
  • Manage territory and account assignments within the CPQ system.
  • Gather business needs and requirements and assist in designing high quality solutions in the CPQ system using custom objects, custom fields, workflows and processes.
  • Understand and create the logic required to deploy new products and functionality into the CPQ system as they are introduced.
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholder teams to improve, or create processes and procedures as necessary to boost productivity.
  • Provide training and support to their CPQ system users across the organisation and ensure they are leveraging the platform efficiently.
  • Perform testing of their CPQ system enhancements within a test environment and other quality assurance tasks.
  • Assist with data cleanliness, identify and resolve data inaccuracies within the CPQ system.
  • Develop and implement CPQ system policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Develop and grow the relationship with their outsourced development company who code the system to their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain resources as needed; perform routine updating of dashboards and process documentation.
  • Assist with importing/exporting and preparation of data between various systems.
  • Stay up to date with CPQ releases, and implement new features and functionalities as needed.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or, qualification in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a CPQ project manager or similar.
  • CPQ Certified would be an advantage.
  • Extensive understanding of the CPQ platforms, how they work and the potential for their development.
  • Proficient in CPQ configuration and administration, including a deep understanding of CPQ security models workflow rules, and custom objects.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other commonly used business applications

The successful candidate will:

Have experience of taking responsibility for managing, customising, implementing integrations and upgrading a CPQ software platform.

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills as they will work with offshore developers and internal departments, Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance.

Have a detail-oriented approach with exceptional Project Management skills including timelines, budgets, teams, etc.

Have a proven track record of optimising CPQ systems ensuring efficient operation and able to leverage the system to its full potential in line with Business objectives.

Be self-motivated with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Have in depth experience and knowledge of working in the Salesforce.com platform.

Have good problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, able to determine the cause of a plan's success or failure.

Be able to keep focussed on the next step to keep a project moving forward.

Have excellent people skills.

Be able to get things done.

Demonstrate a track record of loyalty.

Have a great attitude.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The hours of work are 40 per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Wednesday 7.00am-4.00pm Friday - 7:00 - 2:45 45 mins lunch per day.
