Power Systems Expert
Hybrid role, able to be located across the UK, able to travel into London office when necessary

Leading EPC and O&M providers in the UK and across Europe is seeking a Power Systems Expert to support their growing connection portfolio.
The group has over two decades of experience, working across Europe to delivery cutting edge technologies in the world of renewables. They are technology agnostic, meaning no 2 projects will ever be the same for you. Over the last 20 years, they have successfully installed over 4GW of capacity and are currently managing over 2GW globally.

They are well funded, working closely with their investor to reach their long term goals. They also work strategically in the space, viewing partnerships with developers as long term, aiming to work across multiple projects.
You'd be joining the technical team to play a vital role in their growth and development. Your main role would be to understand and interpret outsourced power systems studies. The main role will include:
- Reading and qualifying power systems studies and models completed by third party agencies.
- Challenging grid connection agreements and offers from DNOS, ICPS and TSO.
- Tendering for new agreements and completing all of the relevant work to achieve this.
- Working as a part of the wider electrical department to share knowledge and support on going connections.
Ideally you'll have a background in consultancy working closely with these power systems studies, looking for a move into the later stages of projects to work through construction stages.
