Our National Logistics client are looking for a Transport Planner to join them on the night shift of Sunday to Thursday and run a fleet of drivers and vehicles throughout the night.
Salary up to £30k DEO Working hours are: Sunday 18:00-06:00 Monday – Thursday 21:00-06:00 Training provided on day shift Permanent role Progression opportunities
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
§ Daily communication with drivers – ensuring all drivers are manifested and de-briefed.
§ Daily checking of operational tools such and driver tracking
§ Ensuring all drivers are logged on and correctly using the systems, communicating non-compliance and escalation if needed
§ Allocating driver resources to plan -
- Liaising with third-party contractors whilst on site including subcontractors, agency, and maintenance providers
- End of day checks, making sure all keys are securely stored
- Communicating any absences, VOR etc to the team
§ Driver card and truck downloads
You must be:

Ideally you will have experience in transport, planning, logistics and customer service however training can be provided for the right candidate with transferable skills.
