Randstad are currently recruiting for a Shuttering Carpenter to support their construction operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine formwork requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to construct formwork.
- Assemble formwork components using hand and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Remove formwork once concrete has cured and clean and store materials for reuse.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- A valid Blue CSCS Card
- Proven experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter in a construction or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools used in formwork assembly.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
