Your Role:
- Reviewing juniors work before handing over to partner
- Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations.
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
- Engaging with a variation of clients and maintaining excellent working relationships.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and VAT returns for clients using a suite of software services.
- You will also assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
What you need:
- ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience delegating and reviewing the work of others.
- Good knowledge of VAT
- Strong UK GAAP knowledge
- Experience of online accounting packages, in particular Xero is essential
- Experience of Caseware Accounts Production Software would be advantageous
