Our client is seeking a highly competent Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead from the front with real development and progression opportunities within a high performing Finance function.
What you'll do:
- Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are used to produce weekly and monthly figures.
- Analysing data to understand variances and work with the operational accountant to identify risks & opportunities to improve financial results.
- Producing accurate and detailed weekly finance reports and set of accounts.
- Using a detailed set of KPI's as business performance driver to improve the performance of the business.
- Undertaking nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
- Ensuring financial controls are in place to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts are accurate.
What you bring:
- Studying towards AAT/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- Practical experience of financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload.
- Clear and concise communication, problem-solving skills, ability to think analytically and creatively.
