IT Support Engineer - 1st / 2nd Line
Location: Peterborough / Hybrid Working
Salary: £30,000
Role:
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for working customer logged tickets day to
day, providing troubleshooting and support to our wide customer base.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Previous IT Helpdesk experience
- Customer Service / Customer facing skills
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Office 365 (Admin)
- Windows 10/11 (troubleshooting, maintenance, repair)
- PC/Server hardware (Servers, PCs and laptops)
- Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
- PowerShell/Batch creation
- Remote Access Tools (Splashtop, Datto RMM, Teamviewer, VPN, RDP, etc)
- Remote Monitoring and Management tools (Datto RMM)
- Networking (IPv4, IPv6, VLAN) creation, support and troubleshooting
- Router/Switch knowledge/configuration
- Security tools (AV, AM, Spamfiltering, Web Filtering, etc)
- Understanding Change Control Process
Desirable (not essential)
- Driver's License
- Cisco/Unifi/HP configuration
- Ex-forces
- Autotask / Datto RMM Knowledge
- ITIL v4
- Project Management
- Experience with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI/DSS compliance
