Job: Children Support Worker
Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: £21,000
Timing: (8am-4pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) (8-5pm Tuesdays)
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioral challenges.
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to create and adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related activities.
Requirements:
- Right To Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided) (Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for the position)
- Minimum 6 months of expereience working in the UK in a school or care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with Special Needs.
