JOB – Graduate Design Engineer
LOCATION – Stoke-On-Trent
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £25,000-£28,000, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures special purpose machinery. They are looking for Graduate Engineers to join their team in Stoke-On-Trent on a permanent basis.
They are also open to taking a non-graduate with a year or two within a Design role.
The Graduate Design Engineers will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified in Engineering or 1-2 years within a Design role
- A sound understanding of Engineering processes and materials
- Ideally experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
- Hands-on technical experience through your course
- Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills
The
Graduate Design Engineer roles will involve:
- Working to project specifications and deadlines
- Documenting activities and analytics to set standards
- Participating in technical training
- Working to budgets and timescales
- Investigating new solutions and areas within which the company can expand
- Being involved in different manufacturing processes
- Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
