Our client, a reputable and long-established licensed conveyancers based in Leeds city centre, is seeking a Risk Investigator to handle the risk assessment of the sourcing of funds and conducting anti-fraud due diligence checks in remortgage cases. Duties will include:
- Ensuring all queries/issues are assessed and where appropriate further action is taken in line with the anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism policy
- Providing support to the remortgage MLRO
- Liaising with client lenders, borrowers and other external clients
- Updating and maintaining internal technical training manuals in accordance with policy and regulatory changes.
- Identifying process improvements
- Ensuring that all correspondence, telephone calls, faxes and emails are actioned to agreed service standards
