We are supporting our client in their search for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Our client is globally recognised and this role offers the successful candidate a pivotal role within the finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective area. This is not just about crunching numbers; it's about understanding data and helping teams make informed, commercial decisions.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will become an integral part of the team, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring adherence to finance processes and producing accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Regular communication with the Reporting Manager regarding process completion, problem resolution and potential escalations.
- Perform all accounting processes in scope for your site/customer/function, such as month-end, reconciliations, and fixed assets accounting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Finance Analyst position will be:
- Effective with time management.
- Clear and effective in communication with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Knowledgeable of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
- A strong Business partner
- Qualified ACCA or CIMA or Qualified by Experience
