Digital Marketing Manager

Digital Marketing is a newly formed team, sitting across the S&A division of PIB Group. There are 5 brands within the division, covering a variety of insurance products from Pet and Motor to Childcare and Healthcare. The group is proud of the heritage of its businesses, with hundreds of years of collective experience in serving customers and leading the way for the industries they serve.

You:

We operate across the brands to drive acquisition and grow customer value, focussing on digital channels for delivery. This role will drive performance forward across campaigns, leading the way on adopting new approaches that drive step change, working with junior managers to improve the customer experience and achieve the best possible returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with development and delivery of the Digital Marketing Strategy, improving use of customer data, automation, and AI.
  • Responsible for delivery of campaigns across all digital channels, including search, email, display and social.
  • Analyse daily performance data and optimise campaigns.
  • Lead the business to adopt digital best practice.
  • Own campaign measurement, ensure we have accurate tracking, and facilitate reporting of results.
  • Understand our customers and adopt targeting and creative strategies that retain and grow our base.
  • Work with our Insights and Analytics team to deep dive into performance data and identify new opportunities
  • Work with Campaigns team, deliver campaigns for each brand in the group through digital channels.
  • Work closely with our in-house design studio to create impactful assets.
  • Adopt a test and learn approach, apply robust methodologies to determine effectiveness of activity.
  • Identify opportunities to adopt new channels, technologies, and approaches.
  • Be a Brand Champion in everything you do.
  • Manage agencies and advertising platforms, get the most out of our partners.
  • Manage stakeholders at group and individual companies.

Experience:

Essential

  • 7 Years+ Digital Marketing experience.
  • Experience managing budgets and extracting the most impact from available budget.
  • Working on contracted products and managing lifecycles
  • Knowledge across the digital ecosystem.
  • Understanding of Customer Data, and how to utilise it to develop a campaign structure that nurtures customers through the funnel.
  • Passion for innovation, pushing for new things rather than relying on the tried and tested.
  • Great communicator with experience working with stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset, able to work on short term goals while moving towards the bigger picture.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Organised and professional.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to adapt and remain flexible in approach.
  • Collaborative team player

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the insurance sector.
  • Working across multiple brands and distribution strategies.
  • Knowledge of insurance, financial or professional services sector
  • Familiar with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Sitecore, MailChimp, Brief Your Market etc
