Community Works Operative / Refuse Loader Alness Temporary - shifts confirmed week to week Pay rate: £12.45 per hour Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm & Friday 7am-2:30pm
Our public sector client located in Alness is looking for Community Works Operatives on a temporary basis starting immediately. Experience is desirable however full training will be given. This role involves heavy duty labouring and you will be required to work out doors in all weathers therefore we are ideally looking for people who enjoy working outdoors.
Available shifts are confirmed on a week to week basis and may not be guaranteed every week.
Safety boots are required for this position and not provided by the client however you will be supplied with all other necessary PPE.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team
- Loading behind refuse/recycling lorry
- Manual lifting of bulky items etc.
- Deliver/uplift recycling/refuse containers
- Delivery of advisory leaflets
- Clear fly tipping etc
- Uplift of dead animals/birds/mammals etc
- Any other work as directed by supervisor/foreman
