Our client is a well respected business operating within the Construction Industry with its head office ideally situated in the centre of Manchester.
This is a great opportunity for an accountant with construction sector experience to be mentored by an experienced part time CFO and to develop into the Financial Director role.
Duties;
- Provide a set of monthly management accounts, actuals and forecast.
- Investigate and explain variances.
- Cashflow management.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsibility for preparation and submission of HMRC returns (VAT, PAYE, CIS,) and any relevant queries arising.
- Weekly KPI reporting - including sales performance.
- Manage annual audit and preparation statutory returns.
- Develop and improve systems to support operational efficiency across the organisation.
Previous experience gained operating within the Construction / House Building Sector is sought after for this role.
This is an excellent Financial Director designate role within a fast paced owner managed construction group.
