We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Greenford, Ealing. This full-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with QTS to contribute to the education and development of young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the national curriculum standards.
- Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for SATs and transition to secondary education.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and a strong classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and a cohesive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and SATs preparation.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
