Group Consolidations Systems Manager required for a well-known medical company based in Bristol!

Up to £75,000 + Bonus and Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Consolidations Systems Manager to join a well-known medical brand in Bristol. You will be responsible for ensuring that the financial information reported by each subsidiary is accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will also be heavily involved in the new system implementation for Consolidations.

We are seeking a bright and dynamic individual, to make a real impact on the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting standards and group consolidation experience as well as extensive systems experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as the Financial Reporting Manager will often work closely with other finance and business leaders across the organisation.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge or IFRS
  • Systems experience: Oracle
  • Prior experience of Group Consolidations
  • Proactive work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

A little more information about the role:

  • Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements for the group, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the system implementation and be lead on the implementation in regards to consolidations
  • Maintain the Consolidation System and lead on any improvements and fixes as necessary
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures across the group to ensure consistency and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws, including IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting process by maintaining strong internal controls and implementing best practices in financial reporting.
  • Support on the audit process
