We are pleased to be working on behalf of a growing manufacturing company based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Logistics Administrator to strengthen their team.
This role will be busy and varied and will require a highly administrative individual with good knowledge of Sage50. You will be responsible for booking delivery slots with stores warehouse and distribution centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with the Internal Sales Team and external customers on a day to day basis.
- Arrange couriers and compare transportation costs.
- Arrange deliveries.
- Sales orders and invoicing.
- Chasing delivery addresses and purchase orders.
- Answering calls, transfer and take messages.
- General Filling.
- Sorting the post.
Previous Skills & Experience:
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent Word and Excel skills.
- Import and Export administration knowledge would be advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of Sage50.
- A friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Excellent record keeping ability.
