Logistics Administrator

We are pleased to be working on behalf of a growing manufacturing company based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Logistics Administrator to strengthen their team.

This role will be busy and varied and will require a highly administrative individual with good knowledge of Sage50. You will be responsible for booking delivery slots with stores warehouse and distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with the Internal Sales Team and external customers on a day to day basis.
  • Arrange couriers and compare transportation costs.
  • Arrange deliveries.
  • Sales orders and invoicing.
  • Chasing delivery addresses and purchase orders.
  • Answering calls, transfer and take messages.
  • General Filling.
  • Sorting the post.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills.
  • Import and Export administration knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Sage50.
  • A friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent record keeping ability.
