Job Title: Car Detailer
Reporting to: Preparation Manager
Department: Vehicle Preparation
We have an opportunity for an experienced detailer to join our new Car Supermarket's vehicle preparation team in Watford (stocking 500+ used cars).
What will you be doing?
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming.
- Machine Operated Polishing (MOP)
- Apply protective finishes to the exteriors and interiors of vehicles.
- Conduct minor paint touch-ups and scratch removal.
- Maintain detailing equipment and ensure the workspace is clean and organized.
- Inspect vehicles for any damage or imperfections and report finding
What do you need for this role?
- Ability to work well under pressure, including good time management and ability to prioritise work
- Previous experience in car detailing or a related field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
It will be a bonus if you had:
- Full driving license
The Hours
Monday to Friday (09.00 - 18.00)
Every other Saturday (09.00 - 18.00)
The Package
- Basic Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience and hours
